Assateague Island National Seashore has two visitor centers:
one in Virginia and the Barrier Island Visitor Center in
Maryland. It's on route 611, 10 miles south of Ocean City.

miles west of US-15. The ranger has the stamp inside. |

I-68, take the downtown Cumberland exit and follow the
signs for the historic Cumberland Information Center.
You'll end up at Station Square and the old train depot.
The visitor center in on the north end of the large brick
building. They also have a stamp for the Potomac
Heritage National Scenic Trail. |

Hancock Visitor Center is located at 326 East Main Street, which
also happens to be route 144. Take exit 3 from I-70 and
ride west about 1 mile. The VC is on the north side of the
street. There is also a stamp for the Potomac

Ferry visitor center, which is actually in West Virginia.
Take US-340 just a few miles west of the Potomac River. |

need to go to the C&O Canal NHP Headquarters for this one.
Take route 34 west through Sharpsburg. Less than 1/2
mile from the river crossing, you'll see a brick entrance on the
right. The stamp is at the visitor information desk, just
inside the first building. |

Cushwa Basin is on the eastern shore of the Potomac, right along
US-11 before it crosses into West Virginia. This stamp,
along with one for the Potomac Heritage Trail, is located in the
large brick building with the name Cushwa painted on the side. |

Clara Barton site is open hourly from 10 AM to 4 PM. The
site is just off MacArthur Boulevard. The stamp is in the
bookshop, to the right as you enter the house. Glen Echo
Park is right next door. |

Foote is located off Fort Foote Road, south of Oxon Hill and the

Washington is south of Washington, D.C., on the Maryland shores
of the Potomac. From Route 210 South (Indian Head Highway)
turn right onto Fort Washington Road which ends at the park
entrance. The visitor center is at the western end of the
park, and the stamp is inside the bookstore. The Fort
Foote Park and Piscataway Park
stamps are here also. |

park is just east of the Clara Barton NHS, off MacArthur
Boulevard. The stamp is kept in the NPS offices, up the
ramp, across from the Carousel. |

get here take exit 23 from I-95. go south on route 201
(Kenilworth Avenue) and then turn left on route 193 (Greenbelt
Road). Turn right to enter the park, pass the park police
building on your right, and then take the
first left to get to the Park Headquarters building. The
stamp is kept just inside the door, at the reception desk. |

I-695, take exit 27B north (Dulaney Valley Road) and turn right
on Hampton Lane. The stamp is kept just inside the
entrance to the mansion. |

battlefield is 3 miles south of Frederick on route 355, the
Georgetown Pike. The visitor center is on the lower level
of the Gambrill Mill and the stamp is to the right as you enter. |

exit 3A from I-95/I-495, the Capital Beltway. Bear right
on to Oxon Hill Road and follow the signs. The stamp is
located in the Visitor Barn, a short walk from the parking area. |
Piscataway

stamp is located at Fort Washington Park.
To get to the park take route 210 (Indian Head Highway) south to
Bryan's Point Road. The park is 4 miles ahead, along the
Potomac River. |

site is off Rose Hill Road, between route 6 and route 225.
The visitor center is a long, long walk from the parking lot.
