Andersonville NHS Andersonville, GA
The site is off Route 49, north of Andersonville. The stamp is at the information desk inside the visitor center/museum. Don't miss the very unique and moving National Prisoner of War Museum.
Chattahoochee River NRA Atlanta, GA
You can find this stamp at Park Headquarters, at the Island Ford Unit. Take exit 6 from US-19/SR-400, turn north up Dunwoody Place, then take a right on Roberts Drive. The park entrance will be on the right. Follow the Island Ford Parkway to the end.
Chickamauga and Chattanooga NMP Fort Oglethorpe, GA
This National Military Park has two sites, one at Lookout Mountain in Tennessee, and this one at Fort Oglethorpe in Chickamauga, Georgia. The park is right along US-27. The visitor center has an excellent collection of antique firearms.
Cumberland Island NS St. Marys, GA
The Visitor Center is located at the very end of SR-40, past the very smelly paper factory. You'll need to ask for the stamp. A Passenger Ferry to the island leaves twice each day, at 9:00 AM and 11:45 AM. Call 912-882-4335 to make a reservation.
Fort Frederica NM St. Simons Island, GA
The remains of the fort are located on St.Simons Island, near Brunswick, Georgia. The stamp is in the visitor center.
Fort Pulaski NM Cockspur Island, GA
The fort is on Cockspur Island, 15 miles east of Savannah, off of US-80. The stamp is in the visitor center, outside of the fort.
Jimmy Carter NHS Plains, GA
The visitor center and the stamp for this site are in the old Plains High School, on North Bond Streel, where Jimmy went to school.
Kennesaw Mountain NBP Kennesaw, GA
You'll find the stamp in the visitor center which is located near the intersection of Stilesboro Road and Old US-41.
Martin Luther King, Jr. NHS Atlanta, GA
Parking near this visitor center can be tough. There is a parking lot for the site a couple of blocks away, but you might try the lot for the indoor swimming pool located on Boulevard, directly east of the visitor center. The stamp is behind the information desk. Ask the ranger.
Ocmulgee NM Macon, GA
The monument is along US-80, on the eastern side of Macon. You'll find the stamp inside the visitor center.
