Allegheny Portage Railroad NHS Cresson, PA
From US-22, take the Gallitzin exit and then follow the signs. The stamp is at the information desk in the visitor center.
Benjamin Franklin N MEM Philadelphia, PA
This memorial is a colossal statue of Ben Franklin which sits in the Rotunda of the Franklin Institute. The building in an entire city block on 20th Street at the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and there is metered parking around the site. Go to the information desk inside the main entrance and ask for the stamp. You will be directed to another information desk where someone else will meet you to reveal the stamp.
Delaware and Lehigh Navigation Canal NHC Easton, PA
The stamp says Eastern, PA, but it lives in the town of Easton, just north of I-78. Go to the center of town, via route 611, and at 30 Centre Square you will find a place called Two Rivers Landing. There is a museum and the Crayola Factory. Go to the ticket counter and ask for the stamp. They have it in a drawer. Two Rivers Landing is not open on Mondays. You can also get this same stamp at the D&L NHC office which is located at 10 East Church Street, Room A-208, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
Delaware Water Gap NRA Bushkill, PA
The Delaware Water Gap has a few different visitor centers and stamps. The Bushkill Visitor Center is right along US-209, just south of the town of Bushkill.
Edgar Allan Poe NHS Philadelphia, PA
The site is at 532 North 7th Street, but it is closed until the fall of 2000. In the meantime you can get the stamp at the Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial.
Eisenhower NHS Gettysburg, PA
Private vehicles are not allowed access to the Eisenhower NHS. You must take a shuttle bus to get here and to get the stamp. Start at the Gettysburg Visitor Center and go inside to buy a $7.00 ticket. The shuttle leaves the Gettysburg parking lot every hour on the hour, and during the summer every half hour. It takes less than 10 minutes to ride to the Eisenhower farm. The stamp is at the reception center, near the cash register in the bookstore.
Fort Necessity NB Farmington, PA
The Fort is off US-40, about 11 miles southeast of Uniontown. The stamp is located in the visitor center.
Friendship Hill NHS New Geneva, PA
Albert Gallatin, Secretary of the Treasury from 1801 to 1814, lived here. The estate is off route 166, about 3 miles north of Point Marion, along the banks of the Monongahela River in southwestern Pennsylvania.
Gettysburg NMP Gettysburg, PA
Follow US-30 and turn south on Baltimore Street, bearing right at Steinwehr Avenue. Look for the big sign near the McDonalds and park in the main lot. This stamp is inside the bookstore, in the visitor center. There is a different stamp at the Cyclorama.
Gettysburg NMP- Cyclorama Gettysburg, PA
Walk a few hundred feet south of the main visitor center to the Cyclorama Center. This stamp is at the information desk inside.
Gloria Dei Church NHS Philadelphia, PA
The Old Swedes' Church is located at Columbus Boulevard and Christian Street, but you won't find this stamp there. It is kept at the Thaddeus Kosciuszko National Memorial.
Hopewell Furnance NHS Elverson, PA
This site is 5 miles south of Birdsboro on route 345. From I-76 it is about a ten mile ride. Take the exit for route 23 East, and follow the signs. Enevntually you'll turn north on to route 345. You'll need to ask the ranger at the information desk for the stamp.
Independence NHP Philadelphia, PA
This stamp is located at the main Visitor Center, on 3rd Street between Chestnut and Walnut. The rangers have it at the information desk. You can also get this stamp at Pemberton House located at 316 Chestnut Street, near Franklin Court.
Johnstown Flood N MEM St. Michael, PA
These directions may seem like the long way around, but they are the best way to get to the visitor center. Take US-219 to the St. Michael/Sideman exit. Drive east on route 869 for about 1.5 miles. Then turn left and head west for 1.5 miles on Lake Road. There will be signs. The stamp is at the information desk of the visitor center.
Steamtown NHS Scranton, PA
This impressive site is in downtown Scranton. From I-81 take exit 53 and follow the signs to Lackawanna Avenue, past the shopping mall. The stamp is at the main information desk inside the visitor center.
Thaddeus Kosciuszko N MEM Philadelphia, PA
The monument is at 301 Pine Street, on the northwest corner of Third Street. The ranger has the stamp just inside the door. Ask for the Gloria Dei Church NHS stamp while you are here.
Upper Delaware SRR Beach Lake, PA
The headquarters for the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River is in Beach Lake, PA. But you can get this stamp at either the NPS Barryville Office or the Information Center in Narrowsburg, both across the river in New York along route 97.
Upper Delaware SRR - Zane Grey Museum Lackawaxen, PA
The Zane Grey Museum is just north of the Roebling Bridge in Lackawaxen. The stamp is kept by the ranger at the desk just inside the entrance.
Valley Forge NHP Valley Forge, PA
From the Pottstown Expressway (US-422) take the Valley Forge Road (route 23) exit. Follow the signs to the visitor center. The stamp is in the bookstore.
