Acadia National Park Mount Desert Island, ME
I got this stamp at the Hulls Cove Visitor Center, located just off SR-3, north of Bar Harbor. The traffic getting to Mount Desert Island can be tough. The stamp is to the left as you enter the center, over by the bookstore. There is also a stamp here for Saint Croix Island IHS.
Saint Croix Island IHS - Bar Harbor Red Beach, ME
This tiny island park has three different stamps. I got this one at the Hulls Cove Visitor Center in Acadia National Park. Ask the people at the bookstore information desk for it. The actual park site, however, lies many miles northeast, on the Saint Croix River.
Saint Croix Island IHS - Calais Red Beach, ME
The stamp is kept at the State of Maine Visitor Information Center in Calais, a few miles north of the island. The tourist information center is one block east of the intersection of routes 1 and 9, along the Saint Croix River. There is another stamp that says Red Beach on it, kept by the fellow who maintains the island, but finding him will be difficult.
