Cane River Creole NHP Natchez, LA
At the time of my visit, the park was relatively new and the sites were under construction. You'll need to call 318-352-0383 to make a reservation to view the site. But you can just stop by to get the stamp. It is located at Park Headquarters at Oakland Plantation, 4386 Route 494. Take I-49 to Exit 127 and head east on route 120. Cross over route 1 to route 494. Oakland is four miles further on the left.
Jean Lafitte NHP- Acadian Cultural Center Lafayette, LA
The Acadian Cultural Center is the headquarters for the three Acadian Units of Jean Lafitte National Historic Park. The center is located at 501 Fisher Road. From US-90, turn east on Surrey Street, past the airport, and follow the signs. The stamp is to the right as your enter the building, in the bookstore.
Jean Lafitte NHP- Barataria Preserve Marrero, LA
The visitor center for the Barataria Preserve is located at 6588 Barataria Boulevard. From I-90 Business, follow Barataria Blvd (Route 45) south for about 9 miles. You will then continue into the Preserve. The parking lot for the visitor center will be another mile on the right. The stamp is on the left end of the information desk.
Jean Lafitte NHP- Chalmette Battlefield Chalmette, LA
The Chalmete Battlefield is about 5 miles east of The French Quarter. The site lies on the banks of the Mississippi River, along West St. Bernard Highway, Route 46. The stamp is at the desk inside the visitor center, just next to the Chalmette Monument.
Jean Lafitte NHP- New Orleans Unit New Orleans, LA
You can find this stamp at 916 North Peters Street, at the French Quarter Visitor Center. They also have the New Orleans Jazz NHP stamp here.
Jean Lafitte NHP- Prairie Acadian Eunice, LA
The Prairie Acadian Cultural Center is located at 250 West Park Avenue, between 2nd and 3rd Streets. The center is two blocks south of US-190. The stamp is at the left end of the information desk.
Jean Lafitte NHP- Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center Thibodaux, LA
This site is located at 314 St. Mary Street (Highway 1), one block west of Church Street, and a few blocks west of route 20. The stamp is at the right end of the information desk.
New Orleans Jazz NHP New Orleans, LA
You'll find this stamp at 916 North Peters Street, at the French Quarter Visitor Center. They also have one of the Jean Lafitte NHP stamps here.
