Ochopee, FL

The Oasis Visitor Center is on the Tamiani Trail (US 41) right in the middle of the state, about halfway between Naples and Miami.  Ask the ranger at the information desk for the stamp.  The stamp on top was replaced with the one on the bottom.

 

 

Biscayne NP
Homestead, FL

Most of this park is under water, but the visitor center is at Convoy Point, 9 miles east of Homestead on SW 328th Street, on the shores of Biscayne Bay.  The stamp is at the information desk.

Canaveral NS
New Smyrna Beach, FL

This stamp is available at the Canaveral National Seashore Visitor Center.  From New Smyrna and US-1, take A1A south along the shore, and follow the road to the entrance station.  The visitor center is a little further south and the stamp is on the information desk.

Titusville, FL

Somehow I got this stamp at an entrance station on SR-402, heading towards Playalinda Beach,  west of Kennedy Parkway and Titusville.  See above for the stamp at the visitor information center south of New Smyrna Beach.

This stamp is kept at the Park Headquarters, located at 308 Julia Street in Titusville.

Castillo de San Marcos NM
St.Augustine, FL

The Castillo is right in the center of St. Augustine.  This stamp is within the fort, inside the bookstore.

De Soto N MEM
Bradenton, FL

To get here take route 64W for 5 miles from downtown Bradenton.  Turn right on 75th Street W and go north about 2 1/2 miles.  The park is at the end of the road.  The stamp is inside the visitor center. 

Everglades NP - Flamingo
Flamingo, FL

Everglades National Park has 5 visitor centers within its 1.5 million acres.  Flamingo is 38 miles into the park at the end of route 9336.  The stamp is in the visitor center, up the ramp.  Ask for it  at the information desk.  There is also a pink Flamingo specialty stamp to put over the NPS stamp, if you like.  This place is not open in the summer.

Everglades NP - Gulf Coast
Everglades City, FL

Everglades National Park has 5 visitor centers within its 1.5 million acres.  This stamp can be found at the Gulf Coast Visitor Center near Everglades City.  This is located  in the northwest corner of the park, a few miles south of US-41, down SR-29.

Everglades NP - Homestead
Homestead, FL

This one is at the park headquarters, the Ernest F. Coe Visitor Center.  Follow route 9336 southwest out of Homestead. The stamp is to the right of the information desk.

Everglades NP - Royal Palm
Homestead, FL

This place is just a bit Further along 9336.  The stamp is in the Bookstore / Information center.  Ask the person at the cash register for it.

Everglades NP - Shark Valley
Shark Valley, FL

The Shark Valley Visitor Center is halfway between Miami and Naples, on US-41, the Tamiami Trail.  The stamp here used to say "Shark Valley" on the bottom, but now they have a separate stamp with just the words Shark Valley on it.

Fort Caroline N MEM
Jacksonville, FL

This park is located 13 miles east of downtown Jacksonville.  Follow Monument Road (off of SR-9A) till the end and you'll see signs to the park.  The stamp is located in the visitor center, along with the stamp for the Timucuan Ecological and Historic Preserve.

Fort Matanzas NM
St. Augustine, FL

The site is off of A1A about 14 miles south of St. Augustine.  The stamp is in the bookstore.  Take the free boat ride over to the fort for a very informative tour by Ranger Dick Orsini who has been here since 1972.  The stamp on top was replaced with the one on the bottom.

 

Gulf Islands NS
Gulf Breeze, FL

This is the stamp from the park headquarters which is located off US 98 just east of Gulf Breeze.  But the park has three other stamps in Florida located nearby.  See below.

Gulf Islands NS - Fort Barrancas
Pensacola, FL

Fort Barrancas is located within the boundaries of the Pensacola Naval Air Station.  It's less than a 1/4 mile from the National Museum of Naval Aviation.  You need to ask the ranger for the stamp, which is kept behind the desk.  If you have time check out the excellent museum and the IMAX theater.

Gulf Islands NS - Fort Pickens
Pensacola Beach, FL

Fort Pickens is located at the very western end of Santa Rosa Island.  Take the toll bridge across the sound and turn right.  About 9 beautiful miles later you will reach the end of the road.  The Visitor Center/Bookstore is right inside the fort.  Ask the ranger at the desk for the stamp.

Gulf Islands NS - Perdido Key
Perdido Key, FL

This one can be found at the entrance station to Rosamond Johnson Beach.  From Perdidio Key Drive (route 292) turn east on Johnson Beach Road and ask the ranger for the stamp.

Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve
Jacksonville, FL

This stamp is located at Fort Caroline National Memorial.  See Above.

Timucuan Preserve - Kingsley Plantation
Jacksonville, FL

The Kingsley Plantation is at the end a dirt road off of SR-105.  Take the Heckscher Drive(SR-105) exit off SR-9A (right after the Broward Bridge if you are coming from Fort Caroline) and drive about 9 miles east until you see the sign on the left.  Then follow the dirt road till the end.  The stamp is in the main building.
